Adult Bible Study meets in the church library begins at 9:15
on Sunday mornings.  It is taught by Pastor Madsen.

Sunday School for the children begins at 9:00 on Sunday mornings. 
It is open to all children from kindergarten through middle school.
 It is taught by Ann McGowan.  Marcia Madsen helps with the transition time
after the Sunday school class and during the worship service.

Our Sunday school classes meet from the Sunday after Labor Day
through the first Sunday in June.  Sometimes we take Sunday school
field trips to outside places, such as the apple orchard and corn maze,
the water amusement park in West Des Moines, the movies, and Boston Pizza.
At the end of each school year we have a sleepover for the children
in the church lounge.
 

We have one week of Vacation Bible School during the summer. 
 

On Thursdays  during the summer months we have a reading time
 This meets from 1:30 until 4:00 each Thursday afternoon.  The children have
 books read to them and also have a chance to read aloud by themselves.
 We have a recess break to play and wade in the pool at the park, and then we
have refreshments.  Kate Nelson assists Ann with VBS and story time.
 

On Sunday, March 9, we dyed Easter eggs.
